The safety and well-being of all participants of the AALL program is paramount. As adults, we want to ensure that the young people playing in the AALL program are able to grow up happy, healthy and, above all, safe. Whether they are our children, or the children of others, each of us has a responsibility to protect them.
Only cleared volunteers are allowed to participate in youth practice, game activities, scorekeeping, etc.
This must be completed on an annual basis.
For volunteer clearance, you will need to complete the volunteer application process. To begin the process, visit our Volunteer Opportunities page and sign up for the league personnel position(s) of your choice. Be prepared to submit the following:
- Sports Connect Volunteer Application - Annual Requirement
- Consent to J.D. Palatine (JDP) Background Check - Annual Requirement
- Acknowledgement of Little League International's Privacy Policy - Annual Requirement
- Acknowledgement of Little League's Child Protection Program - Annual Requirement
- Government Issued ID (ie. Drivers License, Passport, etc.) - Annual Requirement
- Proof of CDC Heads Up Concussion Training Course Completion - Annual Requirement | Access course here
- Proof of Abuse Awareness Training Course Completion - Annual Requirement | Access course here
- Proof of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Training Course Completion - Annual Requirement | Access course here
- Proof of Diamond Leader Training Course Completion - One-Time Requirement | Access course here
- Signed AALL Volunteer Code of Conduct - Annual Requirement
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application. Please allow time for a member of the AALL Executive Board to reach out to you personally.
